Explore the creative industry in modules tailored to you.
You might be one of the many people who aren't sure where they'd start to try and get into TV and Broadcasting... and that's why we're here to give you a taste! Completing our work experience will not only give you a better idea of the different career opportunities within the industry, but you'll have gained valuable experience that you can bring with you, whatever career you end up in. This programme is just the start!
Programme Structure
2 programmes per year
We'll be running two programmes this year. To ensure you can complete the 4Skills work experience, you'll need to register during the months listed below.
Spring/Summer: April to July

Easier navigation
We've added a wide range of new content across our modules, covering many departments at Channel 4. Once you've completed the first two modules, you'll unlock access to the rest—so you can choose the ones that interest you most!
Recognition levels
To pass the programme you must complete 'An Introduction to 4Skills' and 'What is the Creative Industry' modules. You can then choose to expand your knowledge further to unlock our Merit and Distinction awards.
Introductory insight modules
Our insight modules (open to everyone aged 11+) offer you a great base to get to know areas of industry such as Broadcasting, Post Production, Editorial, Operations and Creative. These are designed to give you a basic understanding and context before taking on our Deep Dive modules.

What's Involved?
Once you have passed the programme by completing the 2 introductory modules, you will then have access to all the rest*! Explore different departments at Channel 4, and unlock passions and interests you didn't realise you had.
